The International Association of Colour Consultants/Designers North America was founded in 1990.
Frank Mahnke expanded the presence of the IACC by founding the “IACC Seminars for Color and Environment” in San Diego/California in 1991, which is now known as the “IACC Academy Branch USA: Seminars for Color and Environment”.
In 2009 the IACC Italia was formed and in January 2011 the 1st IACC Seminar started at the Nuova Academia belle Arti in Milan, Italy.
Edda Mally, M.A. and Alexander Karnutsch, Doctor of Architecture, both regular lecturers at the IACC Academy in Salzburg, teach there.
In 2000, the IACC School of Japan for Colour and Interior Design was founded in Nagoya City and in the following years another branch was established in Tokyo.

The IACC has representatives in Canada and South Africa.
